Private Health Fund Rebates
If you have Private Health Insurance extras cover you may receive a rebate. Speak to your insurer to confirm rebates (differ according to insurer and level of cover). If you have private health insurance the physiotherapist can use your private health insurance card to claim your private health insurance for you (if applicable) and you can pay the gap.
Medicare Rebates
Some patients will be able to claim a Medicare rebate. Discuss with your GP if you are eligible for an Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) plan. These plans are for individuals with chronic conditions and entitle patients up to five subsidised allied health professional visits within a calendar year. These appointments require a referral from your GP and can take time to set up. They must be arranged with your GP prior to the physiotherapy appointment to be claimable. At the end of your treatment, you can pay the appointment fee and the physiotherapist can submit your Medicare claim on your behalf for you to be reimbursed.
Cancellation policy
Cancellations require 48 business hours notice. This allows others an opportunity to have your time. Cancellations with less than 48 hours' notice will incur a cancellation fee of 50 percent of the full fee. Failure to attend an appointment (without notice of cancellation) will incur a fee equivalent to the full cost of the appointment.
